1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ChronicleTree, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Using ChronicleTree

You may use ChronicleTree to make and share chronicles, for yourself, a project or a business. What you put on a chronicle stays yours. The service itself, its software and its design remain ours, and you may not:

• Copy, resell or “mirror” the service or its software.
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on ChronicleTree’s website.
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from it.
• Use it for spam, scams or impersonation, or in a way that gets in the way of other people using it.

3. Disclaimer

The materials on ChronicleTree’s website are provided on an “as is” basis. ChronicleTree makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

4. Limitations

In no event shall ChronicleTree or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on ChronicleTree’s website.

5. Content Policy

Users are responsible for the milestones, photos and links they share on ChronicleTree, and must have the right to share them. We reserve the right to remove any content that breaks these terms or is deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

Anyone can report a chronicle using the link at the bottom of it. A chronicle that breaks these terms, for example by being used for spam, scams or impersonation, may be taken down without notice. Its owner can still see it, and can write to us at godnondsilva@gmail.com if they think it was taken down by mistake.

6. Paid Plans

Pro is an optional subscription for a single chronicle, billed in advance each month or each year depending on the plan you choose. Each chronicle you upgrade has its own subscription and its own billing date; your other chronicles stay on Free. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from that chronicle’s settings. When a subscription ends, that chronicle returns to Free and nothing on it is deleted. Deleting a chronicle ends its subscription.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our payment partner, which is the reseller and merchant of record for your purchase. Their checkout shows the price, any taxes and the currency before you pay. 7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ChronicleTree operates and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
